Pengertian Passive Voice
Passive voice adalah suatu bentuk kalimat dimana subjek kalimat mendapatkan aksi, bukan melaksanakan aksi.Namun berbeda dengan active voice yang lebih fokus untuk pihak yang melaksanakan agresi (doer of action), bentuk ini sanggup dikatan lebih berfokus pada pihak atau objek yang mendapatkan hasil dari suatu agresi tersebut (receiver of action).
Rumus Passive Voice
Dalam membentuk suatu kalimat pasif, maka rumus sederhana di bawah ini biasanya dipakai tetapi tetap harus diubahsuaikan dengan tense kalimatnya.

Contoh Soal Passive Voice
1. They translated some old documents last week. What is the passive form of this sentence?

Oleh lantaran pola yang terdapat pada kalimat di atas adalah past tense, jadi kalimat pasif mengikuti pola dasar.
